Customers can drop off their U.S flags at any neighborhood Swan Cleaners store for quick, professional, free cleaning and pressing!
Swan Cleaners has been a part of Columbus for over 65 years, and free flag cleaning has been a tradition since the company's beginning.
"We started the tradition of cleaning U.S. flags for free in 1937 at our first store on Third Ave." said Paul Gelpi, President of Swan Cleaners. "We're proud of this tradition, and we encourage everyone to let us keep their American flags looking like new!"
Swan cleans several thousand flags for free each year. Most are cleaned around Independence Day, Memorial Day and Flag Day, but U.S. and Ohio flags of any size are welcome throughout the year.
