maintain its long-standing tradition alive of cleaning American flags free of charge.
Customers may drop off their
regular-sized, personal U.S flags at any neighborhood Swan Cleaners store for free cleaning and pressing!
Swan Cleaners has been a part of Columbus for over
75 years, and free flag cleaning has been a tradition since the company's beginning.
"We started the tradition of cleaning U.S. flags for free in 1937 at our first store
downtown at Town and Third." said Paul Gelpi, President of Swan Cleaners. "We're proud of this tradition, and we encourage everyone to let us keep their American flags looking like new!"
Swan cleans several thousand flags for free each year. Most are cleaned
during the Independence Day, Memorial Day and Flag Day
holidays, however we welcome the opportunity to clean
regular-sized, personal flags anytime throughout the year.
