While the fall season is setting in around Columbus, Fashion Week is finishing up in NYC (September 10 - 17), and the most popular looks for Spring 2016 are tailored to those of you who enjoy classic clothes, that look good and are comfortable to wear.

What's Happening at NY Fashion Week

Fashion Week in New York City demonstrated a love of gingham! From man tailored blouses to dresses and other points in between, gingham checks are clearly a trend to anticipate next Spring. Go here to see what major players from Guess to Oscar de la Renta are doing with checks.

Other trends included utilitarian (with a military or safari feel to them) jackets paired with dresses, trousers and skirts, some of which were glittering and bedazzled. This high-low concept was repeated by a number of designers.

For those of you who enjoy the classics, you'll be pleased to learn that button-downs, man tailored blouses, blazers and tailored slacks and skirts (with a bit of flare) are definitely in style.
