We are proud to announce that we just recently purchased and installed 3 brand-new, state-of-the-art, Unipress Hurricane shirt presses, at our central shirt laundry in Columbus. Swan Cleaners is the first dry cleaner in the country to own and use these state-of-the-art shirt pressing systems. We are excited to offer our customers, what we believe, will be the best pressed shirt in all of Ohio!
At Swan Cleaners, we have always tried to be at the forefront of adopting new technology and techniques, with regards to professional garment care. With these new systems, we expect to greatly increase the quality level of our laundered shirts. This new technology allows for the perfect pressing of all type of shirt styles.
New fashion styles now include more tapered shirts and sleeves. Because of this style change, old style presses tended to press “ripples” into the end of the sleeve, where it met the cuff. With the new Hurricane presses, the sleeves are filled with blown steam, and not pressed, resulting in a perfect, wrinkle free sleeve and cuff, every time!
